Product: RADIX
The install is professionally done, and looks very nice. But one of the first windows I see says:
"IMPORTANT, Radix is a Client/Server application that gives you the flexibility of accessing
your database from a Local Area Network, company intranet, or via any internet connection."
Then it goes on in bold, "Setting up a Client-Server application is a little more involved
than your typical program. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you open, read, and print
the help file for this install program before continuing."
Well, I appreciate the honesty, Shane. But I don't really need a Client/Server application
for this, and my attitude towards opening, reading and printing help files is about the same
as everyone else's... not quite as unpleasant as spring cleaning, but not a whole lot better.
Also, I'm a bit concerned about something that requires a help file just to install it.
So, I think I'll look at Shareware Assistant, and if that doesn't work out, then perhaps
I'll come back and open, read and print the help file for installing Radix.
