About AISIP's Founder
Susan Pichotta
Susan began working with computers in 1978, at the California State University, Chico.
Through the years, she has been a software developer on mainframe, mini and micro computers.
She got into marketing in 1993, when she began selling software she had written.
She found, much to her surprise, that she enjoyed the marketing and sales end of
the software business. When the internet and websites were added to the marketing mix,
things just got better - she liked it even more.
In 2003, Sue gave in to her fascination with computer graphics, and started an icons
business, Icons-Icons.com.
She now creates and sells icons for other web and software
developers to use in their work.
In 2005, Susan saw a need for an affordable organization for independent software
industry professionals, one with professional standards of behavior enforced in private
newsgroups/forums, and priced so that anyone interested could join. Thus began AISIP,
which now provides a professional yet personal place for software developers to meet and
discuss business issues online - especially marketing and software related issues.
